Double bill of the drama series based on stories by HE Bates. The Wedding: Young Edward looks forward to the start of his summer holidays with his great uncle Silas - a man known as a rogue and a drinker. Queenie White: Silas and Edward redecorate a railway hotel, and although its miserly owner dents Silas's good humour, this is soon put to rights by the owner's wife, Queenie.

    Can anyone tell me where this series was shot? I have a vague feeling I recognize some of the locations but I would like confirmation.
