Oscar-nominated actress Angela Lansbury stars as Jessica Fletcher, successful mystery novelist and talented amateur sleuth, cracking another case like a modern day Marple. On a visit to Japan, sleuthing scribe Jessica Fletcher meets up with one of her former students, who is being forced into an arranged marriage. When the prospective groom is found dead, Jessica steps in to solve the murder.
