When the dead body of Muriel Harrap is found late one night at the Lawnside residential home everyone assumes she died of natural causes. It is not until another seemingly healthy resident dies and rumours of fraud and deception emerge, that Alice Bly feels the compulsion to ask her favourite nephew, DCI Tom Barnaby to investigate.
