MacGyver must investigate when a satellite crashes from orbit and animals start dying from a strange organism attached to it. He finds out that an impulsive scientist from the Phoenix Foundation planted the organism on the satellite to test it. The organism makes the aging process of any living thing that touches it speed up, and she wanted to use it to speed up the growing process of food. However, the Phoenix Foundation and the Army order the scientist to destroy the remaining samples of it, and she agrees. But will she really destroy something that took her years of research to create?
