Comedy drama series about an antiques dealer. Damages of 1,000 pounds are demanded by the publican of Tinker's favourite pub when a cannon bursts through into the beer cellar. Major Turpin, something of a self-proclaimed expert in these matters, claims that it's only a piece of old scrap worth no more than 250 pounds. Lovejoy seeks a second opinion and finds that things are not as they seem.
