The team join forces with detectives from 47th Precinct to investigate the murder of a suspected sex offender. However, when they question the witness, wealthy heiress Stephanie Mulroney, her story is far from watertight, and Cragen presses for her to be charged with murder. However, when the real killer gives himself up, the Mulroney family demand an apology - but their business dealings may not be as clear-cut as they seem.
