Goren and Eames investigate the death of an education adviser whose body has been found in the East River - a case apparently connected to a series of substantial gambling losses he had amassed but was hiding from his wife. At first it appears to have been a suicide, but when it is revealed his body was covered in anti-seasickness patches to induce drowsiness, it becomes clear it was murder.
