A jeweller with ties to the Russian mob is shot dead in the middle of Times Square. It emerges that he had been helping the authorities bring his associates to justice, giving the detectives some obvious suspects. However, the case takes a twist when another man injured in the gunfire is identified as one of the two shooters, which brings his accomplice and then the dead man's wife under suspicion
