McCoy and Borgia prosecute a famous basketball player accused of murdering a fan who had been harassing him for some time. They find the star's fingerprints in the victim's apartment, but the evidence linking him to the crime scene is dismissed as inadmissible because the detectives cut corners to find a match on the police database
