Briscoe and Green investigate the murder of a publishing executive last seen engaged in a heated argument over a taxi. They learn that the killing may have been a race hate crime, with their main suspect having an irrefutable history of prejudice. However, a technicality arises in the case threatening to deny them the conviction. Starring Jerry Orbach and Jesse L Martin.
