A restaurant owner is beaten to death, and Briscoe and Green's investigation leads them to a gang of thrill-seeking teenagers who attempted to steal from the victim but ended up killing him. The ensuing case leaves McCoy with a dilemma - whether the accused are old enough to face the death penalty.
