Duty of Care

Series 1, episode 3

Hunky Martin Shaw stars as the High Court judge tackling moral dilemmas both inside and outside of the courtroom. When a young man is killed on a building site, the rich, well-connected boss attempts to blame his underlings. John Deed takes up the cause, much to the dismay of the Lord Chancellor's department. Meanwhile, Deed's daughter, an animal rights activist, liberates a dog from a lab, leading to blackmail attempts.
