God wants Joan to score an "A" on French test abut Joan of Arc. As Joan revises, she draws comparisons with her current life and the life of the young medieval heroine who claimed to hear divine voices and was eventually burnt at the stake. Helen finds her daughter's newest obsession troublesome and urges Will to get the whole family to see a therapist. Meanwhile, Will is raked over the coals at work for shutting down a crack house.
