The medic struggles to help a woman who has not slept in 10 days, learning she rejected a dog bought by her girlfriend because she was planning to end the relationship. Things come to a head when the patient's liver fails, and the only way to keep her alive is to persuade her partner to donate the organ - while hiding the fact she's about to be dumped
