A death row inmate collapses and doctors predict he will die within the hour. Despite their prognosis and the fact that another patient is awaiting his attention, House insists on treating the prisoner. He believes the man's recent suicide attempt is at odds with his request for an appeal - and in probing his history, discovers a cause for the patient's symptoms
