Thanks Angela - you've put me out of my misery! I spent about two hours trying to work it out on Tuesday. I agree with you Phil - why don't they credit the songs? I wasn't too sure when Holby first introduced lengthy scenes with music but I'm now converted. Most of the songs they use are excellent.

Regarding 9th June music, and as already noted below but just to confirm: song at the start was Ray LaMontagne's 'Hold You in My Arms' and song at the end was 'Canonball' by Damien Rice. Both brilliant! The best way to find out is to use the beeb iplayer to hear the songs again (you can zoom from the start to the end by moving the bar) and write down the lyrics. Then type the song words plus the word 'lyrics' into a search engine and the song should come up!

The songs can't be found because they are original unreleased as such.

A great idea playing these songs during the episode, can add to the emotions. Good that they use unknown artists as well but a puzzle tracking them down. A lot of talent out there.

Why can't the producers of Holby let us know what the songs are!!! i had to find out by watching an episode on i-player and then typing in the words of a song on google which helped me track down 'milk' by 'garbage' bit long winded but got there in the end - just a suggestion for trying to find further songs.
