Drama series following the adventures of Hetty Wainthropp, the Lancashire housewife detective. Marshalling her troops, husband Robert and teenage sidekick Geoffrey, the housewife turned sleuth turns her knack for nosiness into a career, and she is much in demand. Starring Patricia Routledge. Hetty is asked by Hansi, a German pensioner, to track down his sister who he last saw during the war.
