A drama series based on characters from the novel by David Cook. On her sixtieth birthday, Hetty Wainthropp decides it is time for a change of life and starts a new career as a private detective. The Wainthropp Detective Agency is now up and running, and when a bird-watcher goes missing and a young woman is found dead at the bottom of a cliff, Hetty has her next case.
