Nostalgic police drama series set in a 1960s Yorkshire village. Wartime memories are stirred in Aidensfield when an ex-soldier comes to the area for a holiday with his daughter, who strikes up a friendship with a local farm hand. A van-load of stolen cigarettes is dumped on Greengrass. Jo gets some tragic news.
