Police drama series set in Yorkshire in the 1960s. Dennis Parker, apparently suffering from amnesia, arrives in Aidensfield looking for his wife and daughter whom he left seven years previously. After investigating the matter, Nick discovers that he is wanted for a wages snatch. Meanwhile, there is a suspicious fire at Greengrass's barn.
