Police drama series set in Yorkshire in the 1960s. Kate and Nick meet young Danny Parkin, an eight-year-old with TB whose family wants to send him to a Swiss sanitorium but do not have enough money. Kate recruits Greengrass to be Father Christmas at the village charity concert, and Nick investigates a seasonal crime - stolen Christmas trees.
