Nostalgic police drama series set in a 1960s Yorkshire village. The Aidensfield locals have their own Scrooge to contend with in the form of the local bank manager. When his mercenary ways threaten to ruin a local farmer, the bank manager's son finds himself a target for the farmer's rage. Greengrass takes the law into his own hands and sends David to pose as a debt collector.
