Medical drama following Meredith Grey and her fellow first year interns as they try to cope with the demands of life both inside and outside the hectic hospital. Meredith is mortified when her one night stand shows up at the hospital suffering from a priapism. A woman carrying quintuplets is overwhelmed by numerous medical issues. Izzie is frustrated by Alex's shortcomings.
