Set in Stars Hollow, a storybook Connecticut town populated with an eclectic mix of everyday folks and lovable lunatics, Award winning Gilmore Girls is a humorous multigenerational series about friendship, family and the ties that bind. In this episode, Rory's first day at Chilton Prep begins badly when Lorelai accompanies her daughter into the intimidating school wearing a t-shirt, cut-off jeans and cowboy boots, an outfit which draws disapproving stares from the other mothers.
