Ghoulish tales. A young doctor working in a war-ravaged African Republic is killed in service, and his body is shipped back to America, where his father refuses to believe he is dead. The day after the funeral the doctor arrives at his family home unable to explain why he is not dead, but as time passes it becomes apparent that it is his father's state of denial that is holding him back from his peaceful grave
