Author and amateur detective Ellery Queen attempts to solve another murder. Norris Wenthworth has brought an Egyptian sarcophagus from Germany to display at the Tremane Museum, but there's a curse on it that has killed its previous six owners - and he does indeed become the mummy's seventh victim. Or could someone else have had murder on his mind?
