Peter's attempts to get away to spend Christmas Eve with Carla and Reese are thwarted by a very drunk Romano, this doesn't end too well. Jerry starts to wonder whether Amanda is really okay when he spies her rifling through Mark's locker. Carter wonders whether he's found a Christmas miracle when a teenage girl with a rare blood type is admitted needing a liver transplant, just as a boy has been announced brain dead and shares the same rare blood type. Meanwhile Carol and Doug deal with a teenager who has found out that she's pregnant and debates whether to have an abortion or not.

ER is a Drama programme.

The Miracle Worker has no rating, but ER is a 4 star programme.
