Mark's unstable behaviour gets out of control. Carol's women and children clinic gets financial backing from Carter's wealthy grandmother and the knowledge of Carter's wealth makes Anna uneasy. Doug suffers a family tragedy. After a budget investigation, Kerry makes a shocking decision. Meanwhile Peter and Corday clash over a procedure that she has apparently stolen from underneath his nose.
