Ross plans his future with Carol by deciding to have a quick marriage performed after midnight, but will the plan work seeing as Carol is in the dark about it all? Anspaugh's son, Scott is told that his cancer has returned, leaving Jeanie to comfort him. Carter takes time off to help his cousin, Chase kick his heroin addiction after he comes to him asking for drugs. The vocal chord operation goes successfully. Meanwhile Kerry questions Ellis' budget cuts after she discovers that Synergix closes most ER's it acquires and Carol and new paramedic, Greg find yet another elderly rape victim in her flat.

ER is a Drama programme.

Sharp Relief has no rating, but ER is a 4 star programme.
