Peter is hailed as a miracle worker and develops an unusual following after he seemingly heals a blind man. While treating an elderly rape victim Mark learns about forgiveness, which comes in handy, when he learns some disturbing information about Cynthia's past. Carol shows Carter's grandmother the free clinic, with dramatic and moving results. Corday cancels her Christmas plans to stay with a coma patient who has regained consciousness and told some dreadful news. Kerry agrees to attend a conference on ER management with the hospital's new efficiency expert, Dr. West. Meanwhile, the hospital Christmas party brings about some surprise announcements, which make the season of good will very bright.
