Morgenstern gives Doug his job back at the hospital, but tensions are still high between him and Mark espiecially when an award party is planned to celebrate Doug's heroism. Mark's frustation meets breaking point when he and Doug argue over Operation Room priorities, and he sends Doug home but has to search for him when he doesn't show up for his party. Carol becomes the confidant of a teenager who has just attempted suicide and has to tell a very surprised father that his son and daughter have been sleeping together. Benton learns some surprising news about Jeanie, and Carter and Harper get back together.
