A young woman must make an agonizing decision after her boyfriend attempts suicide, and a novice nun is faced with a crisis of faith and commitment. Carter reveals his parent's wealth after other employees moan about the amounts they owe on their medical student loans. Swift confronts Mark over the chief resident's attitude. Carol and Tag are having trouble finding the time to get together. Susan finds Chloe smoking and drinking whilst pregnant and informs her that she isn't staying after the baby is born. Meanwhile Mark, Jen and Rachel snuggle up together - is this the start of a reconciliation?
