When an operation in Pakistan is botched, suspicion is cast on Pierce's Muslim boyfriend, Master Sergeant Brian Meeks (Billy Brown). Reluctantly agreeing to obtain information on Meeks, Pierce wears a recording device during a date, which leads to Meeks' arrest. However, she is still not convinced that Meeks is guilty. Pierce investigates his ex-convict associate and traces the flow of classified information to a computer inside the Pentagon, but the true culprit has no motive except for money.
