Due South is an award-winning comedy-drama made in Toronto, Canada by Alliance Communications. It is about RCMP Const. Benton Fraser (played by Paul Gross). He came to Chicago on the trail of his father's murderer, and by the end of the Pilot film, due to various circumstances, finds himself permanently posted to the Canadian Consulate in Chicago.

In Chicago he also meets Ray Vecchio (David Marciano), a Chicago PD detective. Together they continue their search for the truth and justice, and cause mayhem. The show is not only a cop show; it also has strong elements of drama and comedy!
