The Race

Medical drama tracing the endeavours of a strong-willed female doctor on the American frontier of the 1860s. Dr Quinn tries to enter a race with her new horse but she has a problem with the rules - only men can take part. Meanwhile, Brian faces a different kind of discrimination when he attempts to enter his 'surprise pie' in a cooking contest.
