The Visitor

Medical drama tracing the endeavours of a strong-willed female doctor on the American frontier of the 1860s. The doctor is surprised to find her disapproving mother is coming to visit from Boston - and is distressed when the older woman maintains her coolly formal attitude not only with her but with the rest of the townsfolk. Meanwhile, it looks as if the clinic might be lost, and Robert is burnt in an explosion.
