Crime drama in which a Miami police forensics expert leads a secret double life as a serial killer of criminals he believes to have escaped justice. Dexter discovers that the man responsible for his mother's murder is still alive. Lila believes confronting the murderer will help him recover from his addiction, but Dexter worries about the other urges that might be stirred up by such a confrontation.
