Production Year: 2006

Production Country: USA

Michael C. Hall (of "Six Feet Under" fame) stars as Dexter Morgan, a quirky forensic scientist who by day seems (relatively) normal, going about the fairly mundane business of examining how murder victims died, tracing their blood trajectories and so on.

But by night Dexter becomes a monster - a psycho vigilante serial killer who tracks down the murderers that the Miami PD cannot bring to justice, takes them back to a basement somwehere and slices them up a treat. Great!

Disturbing and original with plenty of black comic moments, all-in-all this is a must see.

We love this series. One of the few we watch on SkyPlus (the only way to watch TV). And the opening title is the best! Buying the books, listening to the music, looking for the Tee shirt.
