Ex-model Gabrielle goes to great lengths to hide her affair with John the gardener and nearly gets caught by her husband Carlos, who comes home early to surprise her with another luxurious gift. Ex-career woman Lynette tries tough love to discipline her three unruly boys, leaving them on the side of the road. But when she goes back to pick them up, they're not there. Bree and Rex attempt marriage counselling but her quest for perfection nearly stops her getting involved in the therapy process. Susan musters the courage to invite hunky new neighbour Mike Delfino to dinner, only to have serial divorcee Edie gatecrash her big night. And the ladies can't decide what to do with the disturbing note they found among Mary Alice's personal belongings.
