Dawson has maxed out his credit cards to pay for his film project but, unbeknownst to him, the stocks he invested in have gone bad and Pacey is reluctant to reveal the truth. However, when all is finally revealed, it leads to an all-out argument that encompasses Dawson and Pacey's entire friendship and threatens to tear them apart completely. Meanwhile, Jen invites her mum to Boston to tell her about Grams' illness and their idea of moving to New York with Jack.
