Still reeling from the loss of his father, Dawson visits Joey in Boston and attends a gathering held by Professor Wilder, but the grief is too much and the party is too soon. Tobey is pushed to the sidelines when he makes a surprise visit to see Jack, who's too busy with his fraternity pals. Meanwhile, Jen catches Charlie with another woman, who turns out to be his sister. However, when an apologetic Jen goes to see him she finds Charlie kissing another woman.
