Dawson has returned to Capeside to tell his parents that he's dropping out of USC and staying in Boston, which doesn't go down too well with Mitch. Meanwhile, Jack is offered a place with the Sigma Epsilon fraternity but doesn't know whether to take it when he discovers he is chosen to make up the gay members quota. Jen and Charlie decide on a 12-hour no-sex ban to find out more about each other and a visit to the shops ends tragically for Mitch.
