Joey and Dawson deal with their respective break-ups. Gretchen reveals that she's leaving to go on a road trip, and Dawson decides to go with her. Joey hands out an olive branch and invites Pacey to a Worthington College party, where the dean wants to meet him. However, what the dean offers is not what Pacey expects. Jen discovers Grams is selling the house to pay for her college education, so she tries to find a way to keep Grams out of a retirement home.
