Joey's looking for some time off work. However, Mrs Valentine will only give it to her if she and Pacey go on a double date with Drue Valentine and his girlfriend Anna, but that's easier said than done. Dawson's own night out with Gretchen and her college pals isn't going so well either as the difference in their ages is highlighted. Meanwhile, Mr Brooks' illness is taking its toll and, realising he doesn't have much time, Mr Brooks has a heart-to-heart with Dawson.
