Drama series about teenagers growing up in a Boston coastal town. Is Jack McPhee gay? Tongues wag after English teacher Mr Peterson forces Jack to read his poetry assignment out loud in class. Not only does he cry, but it's about a man. Sticking up for Jack, hothead Pacey spits in Mr Peterson's face and so risks suspension, just as his grades are improving. Andie completely avoids her brother, while Joey stands by her man as best she can in the face of such scrutiny. (Subtitles)
