Joey has to mask her own feelings when Dawson turns to her for sympathy over his break-up with Jen. Trying to act like he doesn't care about Jen's upcoming date with Cliff, Dawson pretends that he has a date for that evening too and has to try and find an actual date when he suggests that they go on a double date.
