That bright young spark Pascoe teams up with the grizzled warhorse Dalziel (pronounced Dee-el!) again for more instantly classic crime cracking in a feature-length mystery. A serial killer may be on the loose at the Wetherton Royal Infirmary - body parts are dumped in a lake, patients are dying and staff are being murdered. The hospital struggles for survival but so does Pascoe, leaving Dalziel to fight on alone.
