Great character actor Warren Clarke stars in the Beeb's hit mystery drama based on the novels of Reginald Hill. Following a long campaign protesting her innocence, Cissy Kohler is released from prison after spending 35 years behind bars. Now, Dalziel himself is under investigation for her wrongful conviction. To prove his actions were not unprofessional, he has to reinterview suspects and witnesses from the original murder case in 1963.
