Feature length mystery with the detective duo. Dalziel and Pascoe arrive at the scene of the crashed Wetherton Wanderers football team coach and are appalled by the fatalities. Amongst the dead is the club manager, but his death isn't all it appears to be. A post-mortem reveals that the coach crash was used as an opportunity for someone to reap their revenge. When a second murder takes place, the pair become supicious of the whole team.
