When is he going to get that mac dry-cleaned? Peter Falk is the seemingly bumbling cop. In danger of being unmasked, a blackmailer turns killer, framing the victim's wife as prime suspect. Believing the police won't spare him a second glance, the murderer unexpectedly comes under the scrutiny of a certain shabbily-dressed detective who feels there is more here than meets the eye.
